Access measurement tools and pricing calculators in one convenient location. Measure properties, calculate areas, and estimate pricing for services.

Overview

The Toolbox combines property measurement tools and pricing calculators into a single workspace. Measure properties using maps, calculate service areas, and estimate pricing for jobs.

Getting Started

Access the Toolbox from the sidebar. No setup required - tools are available immediately.

Measurement Tools

Measure properties and calculate areas for accurate pricing.

Property Measurement

1. Navigate to Toolbox in the sidebar

2. Click "Measurement Tools" tab

3. Click "New Measurement"

4. Enter property address or use map:

• Address Search: Enter property address
• Map Selection: Click on map to select location

5. Draw measurement area:

• Draw Polygon: Click points on map to create area
• Draw Rectangle: Click and drag to create rectangle
• Draw Circle: Click center and drag for radius

6. View measurements:

• Total Area: Total square footage
• Mowable Area: Area that can be mowed
• Non-Mowable Area: Areas to exclude (buildings, etc.)

7. Save measurement:

• Measurement is saved
• Can be linked to customer property
• Used for pricing calculations

Measurement Features

• Multiple Shapes: Draw polygons, rectangles, circles
• Area Calculation: Automatic area calculation
• Unit Selection: Square feet, square yards, acres
• Save Measurements: Save for future reference
• Link to Properties: Associate with customer properties

Pricing Calculators

Calculate service pricing based on measurements and rates.

Service Pricing Calculator

1. Navigate to Toolbox → Calculators tab

2. Select calculator type:

• Service Calculator: Calculate service pricing
• Program Calculator: Calculate program pricing
• Measurement Calculator: Calculate from measurements

3. Enter inputs:

• Area: Property area (from measurement or manual)
• Service: Select service type
• Rate: Pricing rate (or use default)

4. View calculation:

• Base Price: Calculated base price
• Adjustments: Any adjustments applied
• Total Price: Final calculated price

5. Save estimate:

• Save as estimate
• Or use for job pricing

• Service Calculator: Price individual services
• Program Calculator: Price multi-step programs
• Measurement Calculator: Calculate from property measurements
• Custom Calculator: Create custom calculations

Using Measurements

Linking to Properties

1. After creating measurement

2. Click "Link to Property"

3. Select customer and property

4. Measurement is associated with property

5. Available when creating jobs/estimates for that property

Using in Estimates

1. When creating estimate

2. Select property with measurement

3. Measurement data is available

4. Use for accurate pricing

5. Area is pre-filled in estimate

Common Tasks

Measuring a New Property

1. Go to Toolbox → Measurement Tools

2. Click "New Measurement"

3. Enter address or select on map

4. Draw measurement area

5. Review measurements

6. Save and link to property

Calculating Service Price

1. Go to Toolbox → Calculators

2. Select Service Calculator

3. Enter area (from measurement or manual)

4. Select service

5. Review calculated price

6. Use for estimate or job

Viewing Saved Measurements

1. Go to Toolbox → Measurement Tools

2. View "Saved Measurements" list

3. Click on measurement to view details

4. Edit or delete as needed

Exporting Measurements

1. Go to Toolbox → Measurement Tools

2. Select measurement

3. Click "Export" button

4. Choose format (PDF, Image, etc.)

5. File downloads

Troubleshooting

Map not loading

• Check internet: Ensure internet connection is active
• Check browser: Try different browser
• Clear cache: Clear browser cache
• Enable location: Allow browser location access

Measurement not accurate

• Zoom in: Zoom in closer for more accurate drawing
• Use satellite view: Switch to satellite imagery
• Draw carefully: Click points precisely
• Review shape: Check that shape matches property

Calculator not calculating

• Check inputs: Ensure all required fields are filled
• Verify rates: Check that rates are entered correctly
• Review formula: Verify calculation formula
• Try again: Refresh and recalculate

Can't save measurement

• Check property: Ensure property is selected or created
• Verify permissions: Check your role has save permissions
• Review data: Ensure all required fields are filled
• Try again: Refresh and try saving again

Measurement not linking

• Check property: Verify property exists
• Verify customer: Ensure customer is selected
• Review link: Check that link was successful
• Refresh: Try refreshing page
