Manage your personal account settings, update your profile information, configure preferences, and control notification settings.

Overview

Account Settings allow you to manage your personal information, password, email preferences, and other individual account configurations separate from business-wide settings.

Getting Started

Access Account Settings from:

  • SettingsAccount in the sidebar
  • Or click your avatar → Account Settings

Profile Information

Updating Your Profile

  1. Navigate to SettingsAccount

  1. Go to "Profile" section

  • Name: Your full name
  • Email: Email address (used for login and notifications)
  • Phone: Contact phone number (optional)
  • Avatar: Upload profile picture (optional)
  1. Click "Save Changes"

Profile Information

  • Name: Display name in the system
  • Email: Login email and notification address
  • Phone: Contact phone number
  • Avatar: Profile picture
  • Role: Your role (OWNER, EMPLOYEE, TEAM_LEADER, TEAM_MEMBER)
  • Company: Business/tenant you belong to

Password Management

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to SettingsAccount"Security"

  1. Click "Change Password"

  • Current Password: Your current password
  • New Password: New password (must meet requirements)
  • Confirm Password: Re-enter new password

Password Requirements

  • Minimum length (typically 8+ characters)
  • Mix of letters and numbers
  • Special characters (may be required)
  • Not your email or name

Resetting Forgotten Password

  1. Go to sign-in page

Notification Preferences

Control what notifications you receive and how.

Email Notifications

  • Job Updates: Notify when assigned jobs change
  • Invoice Payments: Notify when invoices are paid
  • System Notifications: General system notifications

Two-Factor Authentication

Enhance account security with two-factor authentication.

Troubleshooting

Can't change password

  • Check requirements: Ensure new password meets requirements
  • Verify current password: Ensure current password is correct
  • Try again: Wait a moment and try again
  • Contact support: If issue persists

Notifications not received

  • Check email: Verify email address is correct
  • Check spam: Look in spam/junk folder
  • Review preferences: Ensure notifications are enabled
  • Check email settings: Verify business email is configured

Profile picture not uploading

  • Check format: Ensure image is supported format (JPG, PNG)
  • Check size: Image may be too large
  • Try different image: Try smaller or different image
  • Clear cache: Clear browser cache and try again

Can't update email

  • Check verification: Must verify new email address
  • Check current email: Verify you can access current email
  • Try again: Resend verification email
  • Contact support: If verification not received

Two-factor not working

  • Check time: Ensure device time is correct
  • Verify code: Double-check code from app
  • Use backup code: Try using backup code
