Plan Required: All Plans
Create bundled service packages, offer package pricing, and simplify service offerings for customers.
Overview
Service Packages allow you to bundle multiple services together, set package pricing (often at a discount), and offer these packages in estimates and jobs.
Getting Started
Access Service Packages from:
- Service Packages in the sidebar
- Or Services → "Packages"
Creating Packages
Step-by-Step: Create a New Package
- Navigate to Service Packages

- Click "New Package" or the plus icon

- Enter package details:

- Package Name: Name of the package (e.g., "Spring Maintenance Package")
- Description: What's included in the package
- Package Price: Total price for the package
- Add services to package:

- Click "Add Service"
- Select service from Services Catalog
- Repeat for each service
- Configure package:

- Services: List of included services
- Pricing: Package price (may be discounted)
- Validity: Package validity period (optional)
- Click "Save Package"

Package Information
- Package Name: Descriptive name
- Description: What's included
- Services: List of services in package
- Package Price: Total price
- Individual Total: Sum of individual service prices
- Savings: Difference (if package is discounted)
Package Pricing
Set package pricing strategies.
Discounted Pricing
- Calculate individual service prices

- Set package price lower than sum

- Savings shown to customers

- Example: $300 individual, $250 package ($50 savings)

Flat Rate Pricing
- Set fixed package price

- Regardless of individual service prices

- Simple for customers to understand

- Easy to quote

Using Packages
In Estimates
- When creating estimate

- Click "Add Package" or select package

- Package services are added

- Package price is used

- Can add additional services if needed

In Jobs
- When creating job

- Select package

- Package services are added to job

- Job includes all package services

- Can add additional services if needed

Managing Packages
Editing Packages
- Go to Service Packages

- Click on package name

- Click "Edit" button

- Update services or pricing

- Save changes

- Note: Changes affect future uses, not existing estimates/jobs

Duplicating Packages
- Open package detail page

- Click "Duplicate" or menu option

- New package created

- Edit as needed (e.g., seasonal variation)

- Save

Archiving Packages
- Open package detail page

- Click "Archive" or "Deactivate"

- Package is hidden from active list

- Can be reactivated later

- Existing estimates/jobs using package are not affected

Deleting Packages
- Open package detail page

- Click "Delete" button

- Confirm deletion

- Note: Cannot delete packages used in existing estimates/jobs

- Only OWNER can typically delete

Common Tasks
Creating Seasonal Packages
- Create package for season (e.g., "Spring Package")

- Include seasonal services

- Set seasonal pricing

- Archive when season ends

- Reactivate next year

Offering Package Discounts
- Calculate individual service total

- Set package price with discount

- Show savings to customers

- Example: 10% off when buying package

Viewing Package Usage
- Open package detail page

- View usage statistics:

- How many times used
- In estimates
- In jobs
- Revenue generated
Troubleshooting
Package not appearing
- Check status: Ensure package is active (not archived)
- Refresh page: Try refreshing
- Verify package: Check if package is saved correctly
- Check filters: Ensure filters aren't hiding package
Pricing not calculating
- Check services: Ensure services are added to package
- Verify prices: Check individual service prices
- Review package price: Verify package price is set
- Recalculate: Try recalculating package
Can't add package to estimate
- Check package: Ensure package exists and is active
- Verify estimate: Check estimate is in correct status
- Refresh: Try refreshing page
- Try again: Attempt adding again
Package services missing
- Check package: Verify services are in package
- Review package: Open package to check services
- Edit package: Add missing services if needed
- Save: Save package changes
