Record chemical applications, track what was applied where and when, and maintain detailed application history for compliance and planning.

Overview

The Chemical Applications system allows you to record every chemical application, link it to products from your catalog, associate it with customer properties, and maintain a complete application history.

Getting Started

Before recording applications, ensure you have:

Recording Applications

Step-by-Step: Record a New Application

  1. Navigate to Chemical Applications in the sidebar

  1. Click "New Application" or the plus icon

  1. Select property:

Select property:

  • Customer: Choose customer
  • Property: Select property where application occurred
  1. Enter application details:

Enter application details:

  • Application Date: Date application was performed
  • Product: Select product from catalog
  • Application Rate: Rate applied (per 1,000 sq ft, per acre, etc.)
  • Area Treated: Total area treated
  • Weather Conditions: Temperature, wind, etc. (optional)
  1. Add application notes:

Add application notes:

  • Notes: Any special notes about the application
  • Conditions: Weather or other conditions
  • Results: Expected or observed results
  1. Click "Save Application"

Application Information Fields

  • Customer & Property: Where application occurred
  • Application Date: When application was performed
  • Product: Product used (from catalog)
  • Application Rate: How much was applied
  • Area Treated: Size of treated area
  • Weather Conditions: Temperature, wind speed, etc.
  • Notes: Additional information
  • Applied By: Who performed the application

Linking to Products

Applications are linked to products from your Chemical Catalog.

Troubleshooting

Can't record application

  • Check products: Ensure products exist in catalog
  • Verify property: Ensure customer and property exist
  • Check permissions: Only OWNER, EMPLOYEE, and TEAM_LEADER can record
  • Review fields: Ensure all required fields are filled

Product not appearing

  • Check catalog: Verify product exists and is active
  • Refresh page: Try refreshing the page
  • Verify filters: Check if filters are hiding product
  • Check status: Ensure product is not archived

Application history not showing

  • Check property: Ensure viewing correct property
  • Verify date range: Check if date filters are applied
  • Refresh page: Try refreshing
  • Check permissions: Verify your role has access

Can't edit application

  • Check permissions: Only OWNER and EMPLOYEE can typically edit
  • Verify application: Ensure application exists
  • Review status: Some applications may be locked
  • Contact admin: May need permission adjustment

Export not working

  • Check browser: Try different browser
  • Allow downloads: Ensure browser allows downloads
  • Check file size: Large exports may take time
  • Try different format: Try CSV instead of Excel
